The core of our mission is simple: to better the lives of the approximately 3,500 people of the town of Salisbury on the small island of Dominica. The Salisbury Community Development organization was an organic effort created at a time of need. We evolved into an organization to maintain our ability to change the lives of our people – to provide support in the form of funds, food, disaster relief and other important projects – not just in an emergency, but longer term.
